Ezekiel Elliott and Dak Prescott are dominating Pro Bowl voting, too

The Dallas Cowboys have taken the league by storm in 2016 thanks to a stellar 11-1 record and a playoff berth with four games still remaining. The main cogs behind their run are Ezekiel Elliott and Dak Prescott, two rookies playing like five-year veterans in Dallas’ backfield.

The rest of the league has taken notice, and so have the fans. According to Ian Rapoport, Elliott and Prescott are the NFL’s leading vote-getters for the Pro Bowl.

It’s not a huge surprise that they’re two of the most popular players in the league, but the fact that they’re No. 1 and 2 in votes is staggering – especially for rookies.

What might be more shocking is the player leading the AFC at tight end.

Not Travis Kelce, not Dennis Pitta, not Delanie Walker but Martellus Bennett. Gronk has likely been removed from the ballot due to his injury, but it’s baffling to see Bennett as the AFC’s top tight end.
