The Detroit Lions got a boost from right tackle LaAdrian Waddle in Week 3. The big right tackle made his return from offseason knee surgery and played a healthy amount of snaps against the Denver Broncos on Monday night.

"I knew I was going to get some snaps," Waddle said, per Justin Rogers of MLive.com. "I wasn't sure how much I was going to play. They just made a decision to keep me in."

Waddle did not start the game, but he relieved Cornelius Lucas in the first quarter and played the rest of the way. He was flagged for two false starts and gave up some pressures to Denver's Von Miller, according to the Detroit Free Press, but Waddle's first game back was a good one overall.
