Mike Iupati returns to practice field, could return in Week 3

The Cardinals received some great news at practice in advance of Week 2.

Offseason addition Mike Iupati, after undergoing knee surgery in late August, returned to the field and could be in the lineup soon.

Iupati was limited in practice, according to head coach Bruce Arians, although an appearance in Week 2 hasn't been ruled out just yet. However, Week 3 is a more realistic possibility.

“It all depends on going out there and being smart because this is a long season,” Iupati said, via ESPN. “Hopefully this week goes well and next week come back."

The Cardinals offensive line did not allow a sack in Week 1 and also helped pave the way for 120 yards rushing (4.8 yards per carry).

Adding Iupati back into the mix should only help.
