Report: Colts safeties Adams and Geathers to return to practice

Published Oct. 27, 2015 1:36 p.m. ET

After playing without safeties Mike Adams and and Clayton Geathers in Sunday's loss to the Saints, the Indianapolis Colts are headed towards to have both players back at practice this week.

Per ESPN's Mike Wells, Adams and Geathers are expected to participate in practice Wednesday in advance of Monday night's game against the Carolina Panthers.

Adams, who has four interceptions on the year missed the New Orleans game with a hamstring injury, while Geathers, who has 13 tackles in a reserve role this season, sat out with a knee injury.

Colt Anderson started in place of Adams against the Saints, alongside Dwight Lowery.
