Richie Incognito returns to Bills after bounce-back season

Free-agent offensive lineman Richie Icognito has agreed to a three-year deal to return to the Buffalo Bills.

Incognito hinted at the agreement on his Twitter account early on Tuesday before the news was confirmed by the team.

FOX Sports NFL Insider Mike Garafolo reports it is a three-year, $15.75 million contract.

The 32-year-old guard started all 16 games for the Bills this past season and was named to his second Pro Bowl. He was part of an offensive line that paved the way for Buffalo to lead the league with an average of 152 yards rushing per game during the regular season.

"I went from a guy nobody wanted to getting redeemed by Buffalo, and I owe them a lot," Incognito said during a conference call Tuesday, according to The Associated Press. "You can't put a price tag on that. They believe in me and I believe in them. I'm real excited about where we are headed."

It was a season of redemption for Incognito, who was missed the second half of the 2013 season and the entire 2014 season in connection with his role in the bullying scandal while with the Miami Dolphins in 2013.
