Texans give 40-year-old punter a pair of Steph Curry's old man sneakers

Remember that pair of Stephen Curry's Under Armour sneakers that the Internet mercilessly roasted a couple of months back? Sure you do.

The Houston Texans certainly didn't forget, and (via SI's Peter King) continued to use the old man sneakers as a joke when wishing their punter, Shane Lechler, a happy 40th birthday.

Curry did the smart thing immediately after the firestorm and proclaimed this version of his sneakers to be "fire." But the rest of us know better -- and so do the Houston Texans.
