The Browns go on a legendary wide receiver run in the draft

The Cleveland Browns stockpiled picks coming into this year's NFL Draft, and then they decided to stockpile wide receivers.

It started with the selection of Corey Coleman with the 15th overall pick on Thursday.

And then came Saturday when the Browns drafted wideouts Ricardo Louis (Round 4, 114th overall), Seth Devalve (Round 4, 138th overall), Jordan Payton (Round 5, 154th overall) and Rashard Higgins (Round 5, 172nd overall).

Cleveland finished 16th in the NFL in receiving yards last season despite three different quarterbacks (Josh McCown, Johnny Manziel and Austin Davis) getting starts during the season. This offseason, they added Robert Griffin III and subtracted Manziel.

Travis Benjamin was the Browns' top wide receiver in 2015 (966 yards, five TDs), but he signed with the San Diego Chargers this offseason. In addition, the future of wideout Josh Gordon remains in question after his most recent bid for reinstatement was denied by the league.
