NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) The Tennessee Titans have listed defensive linemen Jurrell Casey and Karl Klug as questionable for Sunday's game at Kansas City.

Both players said that after increasing their practice reps on Friday, they're planning to play against the Chiefs.

Casey, Klug and linebacker David Bass were limited Friday. Bass also was listed as questionable.

Linebacker Sean Spence has been ruled out with a left ankle sprain.

The Titans (7-6) are tied with Houston for the AFC South lead. Kansas City (10-3) is tied with Oakland for the AFC West.

Casey sat out a victory over Denver last week with a sprained left foot sustained Nov. 27 against the Chicago Bears. It was only the second game he has missed in his six-year NFL career.

''I'm feeling 10 times better than it was last week,'' Casey said. ''That was definitely what I needed, and I'm ready to get going for this week coming up. .. For sure, I'll play.''

Klug is battling a strained left Achilles and sat out both Wednesday and Thursday to rest the injury.

''I'm playing, if it's up to me,'' he said.

The sixth-year defensive end said he couldn't point to a specific play where the injury occurred, only that he developed soreness during last Sunday's game that lingered.

Titans coach Mike Mularkey was pleased that both defensive linemen practiced Friday. Mularkey said he would continue the evaluation process on Saturday and, if need be, leading up to the game before making a final decision on their status Sunday.

''I want to see them in the morning after they did more work than they did yesterday, and then we'll decide if we need to work them out before the game,'' Mularkey said.

Bass, a backup linebacker, emerged on the injury report Thursday with a groin injury. He was listed as limited both Thursday and Friday, and will also be a game-time decision.

Spence injured his left ankle in the win over the Broncos and missed the entire week of practice. Mularkey is hopeful that Spence return Dec. 24 against Jacksonville.
