After seeing their team lose all three games on its recent road trip, Calgary Flames teammates - and roommates - Johnny Gaudreau and Josh Jooris likely can't wait to return to the comforts of home.

The soft-spoken pair recently allowed the team's website a closer look "at their crib," complete with plenty of playful banter and light-hearted ribbing along the way.

Gaudreau and Jooris welcomed the camera and provided an all-access look at their spacious place, with a cactus serving as an interesting talking point on the pair's relationship.

"I'm the one on the left and Johnny's the little guy on the right," the 25-year-old Jooris said the plant that had split into two parts. "I kinda like to act as the father figure in this relationship because I have to take care of this little guy, and that's what (the cactus) represents."

The 22-year-old Gaudreau openly discussed his love of sweets, grilled cheese and water bottles, but also lamented that his room is smaller than that of his teammate. A trip up the stairs leads the pair to the master bedroom, where Jooris reveled in its size while also conveniently pointing out the balcony.

As roommates often do, they tested their video-playing skills - with Jooris using Gaudreau's character in the game to score against him.

"I let you score," Gaudreau said.

Gaudreau has the advantage in that department this season, as his team-high 16 assists and 21 points lead the club.

Jooris may have just two goals and an assist in 20 contests for the Flames, but he did gain the advantage with his roommate during the video game.

Bragging rights at home do mean a lot.
