Kings acquire Lecavalier, Schenn from Flyers

LOS ANGELES (AP) The Los Angeles Kings acquired forward Vincent Lecavalier and defenseman Luke Schenn from the Philadelphia Flyers on Wednesday for center Jordan Weal and a third-round pick.

Lecavalier and Schenn bring veteran experience and big contracts to Los Angeles, which won the Stanley Cup in 2012 and 2014 but missed the playoffs last season.

The 35-year-old Lecavalier has been a healthy scratch for the Flyers for much of the season and has just one assist in seven games. He has two years remaining on his contract after this one at a cap hit of
