There were six games on the NHL schedule for Thursday night. First, the Rangers defeated the Maple Leafs in a 2-1 shootout, the Islanders shut out the Canadiens 3-0 and the Flames topped the Lighting 3-1.

The Predators beat the Avalanche 4-2, the Blackhawks topped the Coyotes 6-3 and the Bruins topped the Kings 4-1.
