BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) Buffalo Sabres defenseman Zach Bogosian is set to make his season debut on Tuesday night against the Dallas Stars after missing the first 18 games with a lower body injury.

Coach Dan Bylsma announced Bogosian will return after the defenseman took part in the morning skate. Bogosian was hurt early into training camp in September, and began practicing with the team last week.

The Sabres have not revealed the nature of Bogosian's injury.

Sabres forward Evander Kane skated with his teammates for the first time on Tuesday since spraining his left knee against New Jersey on Oct. 24. There is still no timetable for when Kane will be cleared to play. He will travel with the Sabres, who open a two-game road trip at St. Louis on Thursday.
