Blues' Bortuzzo out with lower-body injury

ST. LOUIS -- The St. Louis Blues are down to six healthy defensemen for the time being, as the team announced Saturday that Robert Bortuzzo is out with a lower-body injury and will be evaluated again in 10 days.

Bortuzzo left during the third period of the Blues' 2-1 shootout loss to the Detroit Red Wings on Thursday. The 27-year-old has skated in four games this season, recording no points and two penalty minutes.

Carl Gunnarsson, who was a healthy scratch for Thursday's game, is expected to rejoin the lineup Saturday in Bortuzzo's place.
