Bucks' Henson holding a block party

John Henson moved into the starting lineup for the Milwaukee Bucks after the team's first eight games.

Since then, Henson has been holding a block party.

In the seven games Henson came off the bench (he didn't play in one of those first eight contests), he has just five blocks. But as a starter, it has been a different story.

In 16 games as a starter, Henson has 33 blocks (2.1 per game) with at least one block in 14 of those 16 games.

Henson enters Tuesday's game vs. Cleveland having recorded a block in 12 straight games, the fourth-longest active streak in the NBA behind Utah's Rudy Gobert (22), Indiana's Myles Turner (17) and Toronto's Lucas Noguiera (14).

Henson's block percentage of 7.1 percent ties him with Turner for the lead in the NBA -- and that percent is actually down from what Henson has done the past two seasons. In 2014-15, Henson was at 9.3 percent and last season 9.7 percent, both of which led the NBA (he tied with Hassan Whiteside in 2015-16).

During his streak, Henson is averaging 2.5 blocks per game with a block percentage of 9.4 percent. In the 12 games, he has had multiple-block games 11 times with 3-plus blocks five times, including five at Brooklyn on Dec. 1.

Other notes:

-- Milwaukee's Giannis Antetokounmpo and Cleveland's LeBron James are tied for second in the Eastern Conference in individual fast-break points, with 132. Washington's John Wall is first with 138.

-- The Bucks are second in the NBA in opponent 3-point field-goal percentage at 32.6 percent. Cleveland is first in making 3s, at 40.1 percent.

-- Milwaukee has used just three different starting lineups this season, tied for the fewest amount in the league with six other teams.
