PHOENIX -- The Diamondbacks added two fresh arms to the bullpen Wednesday, recalling Dominc Leone from Triple-A Reno and left-hander Zac Curtis from Double-A Mobile.

They take the roster spots of Zack Godley, who was sent back to Reno after starting and pitching five innings in Tuesday's victory, and lefty Andrew Chafin, who was placed on the 15-day disabled list with left shoulder tendinitis.

Curtis made 14 appearances for the D-backs earlier this year and had a 5.23 ERA in 10 1/3 innings. In seven games with Mobile, he had one save and a 2.57 ERA over 7 innings, with four walks and 10 strikeouts. Leone was 4-2 with one save and a 3.86 ERA in 30 1/3 innings for Reno. He pitched in three games earlier this year for the Diamondbacks, giving up four earned runs in 3 innings.

Chafin's placement on the DL is retroactive to July 4. He has a 6.75 ERA in 32 games but has made nine consecutive appearances without allowing a hit since being recalled from Reno on June 15.
