Let's get to today's interesting facts, using DraftKings prices for the 14 night games (Reds-Cubs is being omitted here). Please note that much of the information in this post is being published several hours prior to game times, so check MLB lineups later to confirm that any recommended players are included.

5 Things to Watch:

1. The night's biggest favorite is Madison Bumgarner ($11,700) at -205 over the Rockies, and he's followed closely by David Price ($9,500) against the Rangers. Rox-Giants carries a puny projected run total of 6.5, while four games (Padres-Diamondbacks, Royals-Blue Jays, Rangers-Red Sox, A's-Twins) are at 9.5.

2. The Mets plan to activate Jose Reyes ($2,900) before tonight's game, and bat him in the leadoff spot against Wei-Yin Chen. In 17 Triple-A games this season, Reyes is 16-for-63 (.254) with two homers and four stolen bases. Reyes will play third base, but for now he's eligible at shortstop for DraftKings purposes.

3. Possible absences that could affect your lineup choices are Derek Norris (elbow), Pedro Alvarez (bereavement list), Denard Span (neck), Ender Inciarte (groin) and Justin Bour (ankle). Inciarte and Bour seem likelier to play than the others.

4. Your weather forecast to watch is A's-Twins, as weather.com reports thunderstorm chances of 50 percent or higher in Minneapolis between 7 p.m. and 1 a.m.

5. Yo, BvPers: Carlos Gonzalez ($2,800) has five homers in 53 at bats vs. Bumgarner ... David Freese ($4,000) is 11-for-22 with a homer vs. Mike Leake ... Nelson Cruz ($5,300) is eight-for-20 with two homers vs. Dallas Keuchel ... Marwin Gonzalez ($3,600) and Evan Gattis ($3,600) each has two homers in 15 at bats vs. Taijuan Walker.

Yesterday’s recap:

Pitching selections were on-point yesterday. Lance McCullers (7 IP, 1 ER, and 10 Ks), Jake Peavy (6.2 IP, 1 ER, and 6 Ks,), and Danny Salazar (5.2 IP, 6 Ks) were great. We also received home runs from: Willson Contreras, Kris Bryant, Mookie Betts, and Gregory Polanco (two!).

Must-Start of the day: Brian Dozier, MIN

He has a .371 ISO and a .477 wOBA against lefties this season.

Deal of the day: Rickie Weeks Jr., ARI

He has a .281 ISO and .406 wOBA against left-handed pitchers this season. Also, Weeks is 4-for-9 with one home run, one triple, and one double against Christian Friedrich in his career.

Avoid of the day: Jason Kipnis, CLE

He is 5-30 (.167) with nine strikeouts against Anibal Sanchez.

Stack of the day: Toronto Blue Jays

This year, Chris Young is 0-5 with a 8.53 ERA on the road. That's 24 earned runs in 25.1 innings. Yikes. I don't care about BvP, stack the Blue Jays with the absolute maximum amount allowed per your DFS site. Also, left-handed hitters are batting .356 with a .856 SLG against Young in 2016. Josh Donaldson, Devon Travis, Edwin Encarnacion, Michael Saunders, Justin Smoak, Ezequiel Carrera, Joe Carter, Lyle Overbay, Eric Hinske, etc., are all in play. Well, maybe not the last three names.

Starting pitchers:

Carlos Carrasco, CLE - He's struck out at least six batters in five straight performances. On June 25th, against Detroit, this was his stat line: 9 IP, 0 ER, and 7 Ks.

Kenta Maeda, LAD - He's struck out at least six batters in four of the past five starts.

Gio Gonzalez, WAS - The earned run total has been high, but Gonzalez gets the strikeout-happy Brewers on Tuesday night.

Catchers:

Welington Castillo, ARI - He leads the Diamondbacks with a .338 ISO and .465 wOBA against southpaws this season.

Sandy Leon, BOS - He has a .563 wOBA against righties this year.

First basemen:

Paul Goldschmidt, ARI - He has a .211 ISO and .457 wOBA against lefties this year.

Edwin Encarnacion, TOR - "Stack of the day"

Justin Smoak, TOR - "Stack of the day"

Billy Butler, OAK - He is 9-18 (.500) with a home run against Tommy Milone.

Second basemen:

Brian Dozier, MIN - "Must-start of the day"

Devon Travis, TOR - "Stack of the day"

Third basemen:

Josh Donaldson, TOR - "Stack of the day"

Danny Valencia, OAK - He has a .317 ISO and .451 wOBA against lefties this season.

Shortstops:

Marcus Semien, OAK - He has a .352 ISO and .413 wOBA against lefties in 2016.

Jean Segura, ARI - Could be the leadoff hitter for Arizona. He has a .315 wOBA against lefties this year.

Eduardo Nunez, MIN - He has a .260 ISO against lefties this season.

Outfielders:

Carlos Beltran, NYY - He has a .318 ISO against southpaws this year.

Jackie Bradley Jr., BOS - He has a .294 ISO and a .416 wOBA against righties this season.

Michael Saunders, TOR - "Stack of the day"

Ezequiel Carrera. TOR - "Stack of the day"

Rickie Weeks Jr., ARI - "Deal of the day"

Khris Davis, OAK - He has a .300 ISO against lefties this year.

Carlos Gonzalez, COL - He's priced low because he's facing Madison Bumgarner. However, CarGo is 17-53 (.321) with five home runs and nine extra-base hits against the Mad Bum.
