DeAndre Jordan tweets apology to Mark Cuban, Dallas Mavericks

DeAndre Jordan is sorry, and he wants everyone to know.

The Los Angeles Clippers' center took to Twitter on Friday to tweet an apology to the Dallas Mavericks and team owner Mark Cuban.

On Thursday, Jordan backed out of a verbal agreement with Cuban and the Mavericks, instead electing to re-sign with Los Angeles for the foreseeable future.

While the apology likely means nothing to Cuban, the Mavericks and their fans, it was a move Jordan needed to make.

Jordan simply had what he calls a "change of heart." It wasn't personal. Althought, now it might be for the Mavericks.

This certainly adds a level of drama to Maverick-Clipper games moving forward.

If the NBA schedule-makers have a sense of humor, the Clippers will open the 2015-16 regular season in Dallas.
