Cream of the crop:
Max Scherzer, WAS (vs. CHC, @ SD)
Mad Max will be looking to seek revenge against the Cubbies this week. This season, his worst start was on May 6 vs. Chicago: 5 IP, 7 ER and 7 Ks. Scherzer also squares off against the Padres on Father's Day eve. San Diego has struck out the third-most times this season.
Jacob deGrom, NYM (vs. PIT, vs. ATL)
The deGrominator took on the Pirates in his last start: 6 IP, 3 ER and 9 Ks. He'll also face the team who is currently 29th in team batting average (Atlanta). This season, deGrom also has a 2.03 ERA at Citi Field.
Zack Greinke, ARI (vs. LAD, @ PHI)
It took him until June, but I think Greinke has finally figured out how to pitch at Chase Field. In his last outing, Greinke went the distance and only allowed three hits against the Rays at home. He has now pitched in back-to-back games without allowing an earned run. He'll put his streak on the line against his former team, the Dodgers. After that, Greinke will face the Phillies. He is 6-1 with a 2.68 ERA against Philadelphia in 50.1 innings of work.
Potential bargains:
Matt Cain, SF (vs. MIL, @ TB)
Remember Cain? He was a dominant part of the Giants rotation back in the day. Recently, his numbers have dipped ... tremendously. The former 16-game winner is 1-5 with a 5.20 ERA this year. Cain's outings have been significantly better. He's allowed two earned runs or less in three consecutive starts. This week, Cain will face two of the top four teams in strikeouts, too.
Brandon Finnegan, CIN (@ ATL, @ HOU)
While Finnegan's record isn't stellar (2-4), he's pitched well. This year, he's only had two of his 13 starts where the opposing team has scored more than three earned runs. Even more recently, Finnegan has allowed two earned runs or less in three of the past four outings. In Week 11, Finnegan will face two teams in the top four who've the most strikeouts against left-handed pitching.
Avoid at all costs:
Aaron Blair, ATL (vs. CIN, @ NYM)
He's made it through the fifth inning once in the last five outings. Left-handed hitters are batting .313 against him and righties are even better (.320). When Blair is on the hill, add plenty of opposing hitters to your fantasy and DFS lineups.
Matt Boyd, DET (@ CWS, @ KC)
Boyd has faced some tough lineups this season (Blue Jays, Yankees and Indians) and that list will grow after Week 11. Boyd must travel to Chicago and Kansas City this week. The Royals are 19-7 at home this season and have the 10th-best team batting average against southpaws.
