Less than 24 hours after their season ended, Jamal Crawford and JJ Redick got together for Redick's 'The Vertical Podcast' to perform the podcast equivalent of a Bones episode. With the emotion of their loss in Portland still fresh, the Clippers' guards did their best to piece together the demise of the Clippers' season.

'This will probably be the most difficult podcast that I'll have to record his entire year,' Redick says to kickoff the episode.

Redick and Crawford waste no time getting right into it, going from tears in the locker room to discussing how the guys felt after losing both Chris Paul and Blake Griffin in the same game to effectively end their playoff hopes.

The two players go on to share their respect for the way the team performed without its two best players, not giving up until the final whistle. Both singled out Austin Rivers in particular for his elimination game performance after needing 11 stitches to close up a gash around his left eye.

'It was like a boxer who just did 12 rounds with Mayweather or Paquiao,' said Crawford of Rivers' injury.

The two did talk about happier times as the podcast progressed mentioning Crawford's record third Sixth Man of the Year Awardbefore finishing with their top four performers of all-time as a tribute to Prince
