Marian Gaborik's girlfriend hit in the face by puck at Kings game, takes it in stride

You can probably count the number of hockey players in the NHL with a full set of their own teeth on one hand. And while their less than toothy grins are an adorable contrast to the players' rough and tumble nature on the ice, it's likely not a look their wives and girlfriends are going for.

Lucky for LA Kings winger Marian Gaborik's girlfiend, she required no dental work after being hit by a puck during the Kings' game with the Avalanche on Wednesday night. Although she did need a couple of stitches:

Thankfully for Gaborik, it was not a puck off of his stick that picked out his 'lil warrior.' And it looks like the couple has a good sense of humor about it, even posting a clip of the moment from the game's telecast:

I guess it's not just the hockey players on the ice that are tough... add their significant others to that list as well!
