Meet the 2016-17 Bucks: Fun facts about your favorite players

The regular season is upon us and soon enough you'll be hearing all about points, rebounds, assists, saves and other statistics.

Since you'll be getting enough basketball stats about the Milwaukee Bucks to fill any void you might have, we thought we'd take a look at the lighter side of things.

We scoured through the Bucks media guide and came up with some different and interesting facts about a number of players. While your friends are dishing out Giannis Antetokounmpo's scoring average, you can enlighten them on which player has lived in seven states, who wears the shorts of the next opponent to bed the before a game, whose uncles played in the NFL and much more.

Giannis Antetokounmpo: Spent part of his summer serving compulsive military service in his native Greece.

Michael Beasley: A childhood friend of Golden State's Kevin Durant.

Malcolm Brogdon: Earned a master's degree from Virginia in public policy.

Matthew Dellavedova: Favorite hobby is playing the guitar and favorite board game is Monopoly.

John Henson: Has already lived in seven different states in his life.

Thon Maker: Favorite non-basketball team is Arsenal.

Khris Middleton: Enjoys playing ping pong and played the piano in his younger years.

Greg Monroe: Grew up in New Orleans and in September 2006 the Times-Picayune included Monroe, then 16, in a short list of sports executives and athletes who had an impact on the area post-Hurricane Katrina.

Steve Novak: His sister, Andrea, played collegiately at Michigan Tech.

Jabari Parker: His dad, Sonny, played six seasons in the NBA, but Parker also has two uncles, Harvey Unga and Tony Moeaki, who played in the NFL.

Miles Plumlee: Joined on the team at Duke by his younger brothers, Mason and Marshall, in 2011-12, becoming the third Division I brother trio to play on the same team. The other two both occurred in 1957-58.

Tony Snell: Was a high school teammate of San Antonio's Kawhi Leonard.

Mirza Teletovic: Speaks Bosnian, English and Spanish.

Jason Terry: Among his superstitions, he lists wearing high socks, a headband and an armband, eating some form of chicken pre-game and sleeping in the shorts of the opposing team before every game.

Rashad Vaughn: Would one day like to visit Rome.
