Meet the newest members of the Anaheim Ducks

The NHL trade deadline has come and gone and as usual, the Anaheim Ducks were busy.

Ducks GM Bob Murray made two significant moves with a Stanley Cup push looming acquiring Sabres LW Jamie McGinn and Panthers C Brandon Pirri for a third round pick and sixth round pick next year's draft respectively.

Jamie McGinn - LW

McGinn, 27, had 14 goals and 27 points this season for the Sabres. The forward is type of bruising player Murray has liked throughout his tenure as Ducks GM and led the Sabres in hits this season.

With Patrick Maroon being shipped out of Anaheim towards the end of dealine day, it is likely McGinn slots into the LW position on the Corey Perry-Rickard Rakell line.

The third round pick the Ducks sent in exchange for McGinn becomes a second round pick if the team wins two or more playoff series.

Brandon Pirri - C

Last season, Pirri, 24, had one of the oddest stat lines in recent memory scoring 22 goals while having only two assists in 49 games for the Panthers. This season, Pirri has 11 goals and 24 points.

Pirri should add scoring depth for the Ducks playoff run. He will be a restricted free agent at the end of the season.

With the trades, the Ducks will hope they can get over their Game 7 woes of the past few seasons. It is worth noting that Anaheim has made the most trades in the NHL in the salary cap era (h/t Sportsnet)
