Panthers assign Logan Shaw to Portland Pirates

SUNRISE, Fla. - Florida Panthers Executive Vice President and General Manager Dale Tallon announced Friday that the Panthers have assigned forward Logan Shaw to the club's American Hockey League affiliate, the Portland Pirates.

The 23-year old Shaw has recorded seven points (5-2-7) in 53 games this season with the Panthers and has recorded eight points (7-1-8) in 13 games this season with Portland.

The 6-foot-3, 202-pound native of Glace Bay, Nova Scotia was originally selected by Florida in the third round (76th overall) of the 2011 NHL Draft.
