Panthers recall forward Greg McKegg, defenseman Dylan Olsen

SUNRISE, Fla. -- Florida Panthers Executive Vice President and General Manager Dale Tallon announced Tuesday that forward Greg McKegg has been recalled from the club's American Hockey League affiliate, the Portland Pirates. Additionally, defenseman Dylan Olsen has been recalled from Portland on emergency basis.

The 23-year old McKegg has played in six games with Florida this season and has played in 47 games with Portland recording 23 points (10-13-23). McKegg has played in 10 NHL games with Florida (2015-16) and Toronto (2013-15).

The 6-foot, 191-pound native of St. Thomas, Ontario was originally selected by Toronto in the third round (62nd overall) of the 2010 NHL Draft.

The 25-year old Olsen has played in eight games with Florida this season recording one assist and has played in 38 games with Portland recording 12 points (4-8-12). Olsen has played in 124 NHL games recording 22 points (5-17-22) for Florida (2013-16) and Chicago (2011-12).

The 6-foot-2, 223-pound native of Calgary, Alberta was originally selected by Chicago in the first round (28th overall) of the 2009 NHL Draft.
