Panthers recall Logan Shaw, reassign Rocco Grimaldi to Portland

SUNRISE, Fla. - Florida Panthers Executive Vice President and General Manager Dale Tallon announced Saturday that the Panthers have recalled forward Logan Shaw from the club's American Hockey League affiliate, the Portland Pirates.

The 23-year old Shaw has played in 53 games with Florida this season recording seven points (5-2-7) and has played in 19 games with Portland, recording 14 points (11-3-14). The 6-foot-3, 202-pound native of Glace Bay, Nova Scotia was originally selected by Florida in the third round (76th overall) of the 2011 NHL Draft.

Additionally, forward Rocco Grimaldi has been assigned to Portland.
