San Diego Buzz: Padres make more roster moves, Chargers sign Brown

The San Diego Padres received C Christian Bethancourt in a three player trade with the Atlanta Braves. The Padres gave the Braves RHP Casey Kelly and catching prospect Ricardo Rodriguez in return. Read the full story here.

The San Diego Padres are continuing to make some roster moves throughout the off season. Jedd Gyorko has been traded to the St. Louis Cardinals for Jon Jay and cash considerations. Check out this video by Brie Thiele for more on the trade.

The Chargers are ready to add some wins to the season by bringing a familiar face back onto the field. Vincent Brown, a former San Diego State Aztec, was not only drafted by the Chargers back in 2011, he also stayed with the team until 2013. Hopefully adding another wide receiver to the roster will get the Chargers back on track.

Andy Green speaks out about the Padres and how he's working to build relationships with each player both before and throughout the season. Green also explains the importance of communication within the team and how he hopes to "cultivate an environment where every guy has the best year possible."

A few players from the San Diego Chargers spent their morning handing out teddy bears with local police officers at Rady's Children Hospital.
