A message from Tony

Dear Friends,

The Tony Stewart Foundation is something I have wanted to do for quite a while. Over the years, I've donated funding to numerous non-profit organizations primarily supporting chronically ill children and individuals injured in motorsports activities. However, I've never focused on creating an ongoing charitable campaign that was sustained year-round. With the formation of the Tony Stewart Foundation, community efforts will continue to expand and our giving and fundraising programs will grow substantially.

There are several non-profit organizations that do a wonderful job of supporting several of the causes that are most dear to me, particularly Kyle and Pattie Petty's Victory Junction Camp, The Make-A-Wish Foundation and Ronald McDonald's Children's Charities. The Tony Stewart Foundation will continue to indefinitely support these tremendous organizations. I've been fortunate enough to accomplish my dream of driving race cars for a living. I trust the Tony Stewart Foundation will positively increase my strong belief of giving back to the community, which is only natural considering the numerous blessings I have received throughout my life.

I look forward to the support of our wonderful motorsports community as we ensure the goals of the Tony Stewart Foundation are accomplished.

Please include your address (if not written on the check) so the Foundation can send an acknowledgement letter for your donation. All donations to the Tony Stewart Foundation of $250.00 or more will be acknowledged in writing for tax purposes as required by the Internal Revenue Service.

The Tony Stewart Foundation Mission Statement

Founded in 2003 by NASCAR Winston Cup Champion, Tony Stewart, the principal purposes of the Tony Stewart Foundation are to raise and donate funds to help care for chronically ill children, drivers injured in motorsports activities and to support other charitable organizations in the protection of various animal species. The Tony Stewart Foundation will raise and donate funds to charitable interests, specifically those that support the aforementioned groups.

Objective & Policy Statement

The Tony Stewart Foundation, a private non-profit corporation, was established in 2003 by NASCAR driver Tony Stewart to primarily raise and donate funds to help care for chronically ill children, drivers injured in motorsports activities and to support other charitable organizations in the protection of various animal species.

Policies and programs are directed by its Board of Directors who have discretionary powers and are dedicated to carrying out their responsibilities in a manner that will result in maximum beneficial use of resources of the Foundation to promote the Foundation's purposes. The particular organization and the type of the programs and their long-term benefit shall be primary factors in the consideration of making grants.

As a result of the close ties that Tony Stewart has with Indianapolis, Indiana and the Charlotte, North Carolina metropolitan areas, organizations supporting programs and projects in these markets related to the Foundation's purposes will be given greater preference.
