Getting inducted into the hall of fame at Talladega is a huge accomplishment for me. Through my career, I have inducted a number of different people into that hall of fame, including Bill France Jr. last year with Jeff Gordon.

I think it's one of the most credible in all of racing. Of course, I have fond memories of Talladega, having won four Cup races there, tied with Bobby Allison and Buddy Baker for third behind Dale Earnhardt's 10 victories and Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s five wins at the track.

It's a big thrill any time your peers and fellow competitors appreciate what you've done and they honor your career so I really look forward to it. I'm excited about it. I'm flattered.

There are a lot of great names, and I look forward to going into the hall of fame that weekend with a lot of other great drivers so it's just fun to be mentioned. It's gratifying to be included with all of those other great drivers.
