Two-time defending Chili Bowl champion Cory Kruseman finished second to fellow Mopar driver Tracy Hines at the Tulsa Expo Raceway in Tulsa, Okla.

This year's Chili Bowl Midget Nationals saw 28 Mopar-powered cars entered, a considerable jump in numbers from the single entry driven by Tony Stewart in 2002. The event also boasted a record breaking 249 entries. During three days of preliminary action, Mopar-powered machines claimed one win, four A-main top-three finishes, six heat race wins, one B-main event win, a C-main event win and a D-main event win.

Preliminary action saw Danny Lasoski take a third-place finish on Wednesday, while Hines won Thursday's A-main followed by Tony Stewart in third place. Dave Darland also drove to a third-place finish in Friday's A-main preliminary event. In Saturday's A-main finale, Hines was joined by six other Mopar drivers, including Stewart, Lasoski, Darland, Tyler Walker, Brandon Waelti and David Gough.
