It's not Wimbledon but I'm still wheel chuffed

MARTINA Navratilova proved she is still a winner, after completing a daredevil stunt hundreds of feet above the ground.

The Tennis legend had to leap between five Mini cars strung high up over deep water in order to win meals for her I'm A Celebrity companions.

But the former Wimbledon champion showed she is still made of strong stuff, keeping her cool and winning all 12 stars for her jungle buddies.

Her first Bushtucker trial saw the star winched up into the air at the wheel of a Mini. She had to climb out of the sunroof and go from one dangling car to the next, searching for yellow stars.

Each car crashed into the water moments after she leapt onto the next one.

A panting Navratilova said: "I am very, very pleased. I've not had a rush like that for a while. It's not quite like winning Wimbledon but maybe like the first or second round." Later, the gay 52-year-old told how she had lost her virginity to a man when she was 17.

Opening up to model Nicola McLean she said: "He was a nice guy but it wasn't quite there. Then when I was with the first woman about a year later, it was like 'oh, I'm gay'. It was like coming home."
