'Invincible' Venus joins Serena in last four
by Metro
Venus Williams admits some of her play is close to perfection after breezing past Poland's Agnieszka Radwanska. The defending champion moved into the semi-finals after seeing off Radwanska 6-1, 6-2 in one hour and eight minutes. It was her 63rd win in 13 Wimbledons , during which she has lifted five singles crowns and on this showing no one would bet against her becoming the first player to win the title in three successive years since Steffi Graf. 'That first set for me was almost perfect,' said Williams. 'Do I feel invincible? I'd like to say yes but I really do work at it.' She now faces top seed Dinara Safina in the last four and her sister Serena Williams, who yesterday beat Victoria Azarenka of Belarus 6-2, 6-3 faces another Russian, Elena Dementieva.
