What it is to do this job as a coach. Well I. Always had great respect and admiration. For the the term coach and teacher. I think that everybody. Along somewhere in their their path of life has a favorite teacher or favorite coach in somebody that really mentored them and and you know. It played a great role in where they are today and so I have great respect for. For the term coach in in what that means also have a greater. In -- and respect for the game of football and the process. That -- excellent striving for perfection trying to retain excellence. And the process of work and being part of a team that is as loved being a part. Whether it's on a team leading your team. Associated with the team because I think human beings want that they wanna be a part of the team. You know I know -- developed a relationship with with the late Bill Walsh -- and then as I had with bill wanna work for bill wrote the book with bill. -- it's gotta be some special for you now to come to the 49ers. -- team that's synonymous with bill walks to help try to reestablish. That that. Icon that the four and a brand this. Are you -- you read your book and I consider -- electric coaching Bible. You you're you're pretty extraordinary -- published you know game plans -- high set up your week so thank you for. Or reading a book along along with coach -- because that is not a great service. Just so many coaches like myself. And don't be you know being around coach Walsh. Really for about nine months when I first took the Stanford job trying to glean as much as possible. Find out what that is you know I don't think anybody can. Can fully understand that in. After nine days on the job but you know that some that -- is is what I'm trying to to accomplish right now and I didn't know you might spend. I spent time having conversations. With players with coaches. With people that are in the building. People that make up that team. Of the San Francisco 49ers and and to understand. You know what. What we can do what's what's been done right here and and keep doing it that way and things that we can improve on as it relates to the culture of the attitude.
