I feel like connecting. -- announcement marks some kind of made a bad thing if things so it's nice to be here see everybody and it's definitely a little bit -- part of and I feel more vocal this year. Which I don't have a problem doing now and I'm a little more comfortable races. For more on -- and this year's club. We're now joined by general manager in Meyers drysdale and great to see any end and you like so many of the people you cannot wait for this season gets started. It really is it's been a long offseason seems like it players overseas and so many things that happen. But the players are -- the opportunity to have everybody in camp. And to see them and I know the coaches are really excited and working hard the one player working hard Candice Dupree. And off to a little slow start last year but boy once she got a hold of the system both offensively and defensively. We knew why that -- deal was made she's really jelled well and I think also last summer being at the world championships. With Diana and in the USA team and there's a sense of confidence isn't so comfortable in this. And also knowing. That that relationship what Diana has really solidified. Not only through the things -- but also with USA basketball and his team came up short in their bid for a repeat the championship. But this is team that returned with a whole new renewed hunger. Any based on the results last year has a lot to do with some of the changes you made bringing in several new faces talk about those faces this year. With adding the Q -- Ford referred man Harris. They give us some good veterans on the floor -- Ferdinand Harris in LA played with Lisa Leslie and and really top players there knows how to get to the next level. And the kids Sanford is just tough and gritty and strong and that. Really brings a great attitude off the bench and you mentioned Kara Braxton while she's not new. This being her first training camp and we saw much like Candice -- Once she got a grasp of the system and getting comfortable with their teammates. Just became and immovable object down low and her personality really fits in with this team too and I I think that that's the key that she feels comfortable that she knows that -- A go to player in. In all the players know that they can score I think you'll see eight team this year to that will be more inside. Then it is on the outside let's talk about the new perspective if you will from Diana Taurasi and Penny Taylor. Well rested batteries recharged. For the first time and really seven or eight years. Well -- for Diana I think it's more than six or seven years I think goes back to her age you guys honestly through high school college USA basketball. WNBA than going overseas I think this is the first year that she's ever been healthy and going over what happened with Turkey that all has been resolved it was. Of bogus call. And but it was a blessing in disguise and she's happy she's excited you could see the bouncers stepped. And penny had played over in Turkey in left and had some other issues to deal with but. It gave her the opportunity also to rest because they'll ask -- she had the bad ankle -- so she's just kind of been playing hurt also. So with a retooled roster. Certainly bright outlook. They used to this organization view this season and is championship or bust or not bus but every year that I have come even my very first year. Expect to win the championship I mean. That's my attitude I love to win and I expect to put players out there along with the coaches that we have. Now there's a continuity to we're not changing coaches were not changing so many different players and I think when that happens. It takes time to readjust for everybody absolutely expect to win a championship so does everybody else -- -- -- But I will say going into the fifteenth season of WNBA that this is the strongest since -- over them. Any as always thanks for the visit and looking forward to a very exciting 2011 Phoenix Mercury season things -- -- -- here.
