You don't want -- I it was location coach I was I was not trying to throw hard aren't trying to paint the corners -- catcher -- it would no problem right. I don't know about down. But you know these guys get caught up in -- hard they throw instead of the location location or every carry -- -- If you look at it these quarterbacks now to go into the pros them back when you were high draft pick you know that I guess they sort of expected you to ease into the position. Now the expectations are these guys have to commit and be great right away we expect look Robert -- thirty contending -- to be guys who can make immediate impact too much pressure on that position. Well how it's just sort of way to do it now you're right when I came out I had no idea that it is their sisco 49ers -- -- going to draft me. And I remember of course nothing was on TV that can be six sixties there. And not -- had a local attorney there's sort of helped me out and dedicated to -- -- stretches yeah -- -- John -- gotten -- -- -- success -- didn't. And so I go out there and say we won't just sit back and birdied for about five years and and we had a QB ready. It years not so I guess that was -- playing golf most of we're not worried about I don't know. But it is different nowadays and certainly the players in college. -- or more in a little bit of a pro style offense not completely but. They didn't they know -- -- -- -- it would Jon Gruden and of course he can teach me how to play at least as it did like tortured. I like what he does with them I don't know what you think when he sits him down it breaks down hill wood as a quarterback camps there but it seems like he's he's been an honest with them. You Williams thing. Told me this and yeah I enjoyed didn't and watching every damage with those quarterbacks and they they know he's. Did not have a little bit -- get a nice way. And they can take it and they they know hey we all mess up what we're we're playing that position just don't mess up too much can -- -- parents. But these kids run that spread offense so high school those seven on seven. Leagues that they have drug college you know are -- eight. Mean they already their pro ready for the most part with these offenses aren't that. A little bit so. You know I still sort -- pro game is -- There's more about the quarterback under center and handed golfer in and taken -- handoff and throwing things like that but they didn't shut their whole bunch as we know also. So it's they had a game is change there's no question about it I guess we're. Word spread out hysteria running the ball back to sixty -- -- percent of the tents because that's what we certain that we're doing best and that's. Of course -- up just need to win eleven games last year so he always just gotta do what you do best. I don't so you had you know with that offense at Florida that it's different South Carolina and and I think that you're. You're different and a lot of these coaches that I think you see that you run the football. And a time of possession mean run run the clock I mean it's bad things can happen when you throw the ball you got a lot of more their -- when did you decide maybe this is what. Is this is how you win football games instead of just throwing it all over the field like you do in the NFL. There was certainly we've always tried to run. Successfully. Went coast of Florida we were pretty pretty good throw hunting course would be any war fought Shane Matthews Rex Grossman and some -- So would come out fired and then usually get a pretty good lead then we'd run the clock down and does not tardy had a Terrell attend the second half. But when you're playing actually here we played Georgia two years ago. And we had it fourteen and particularly an eight point lead early in the fourth quarter. Our quarterback and Stephen Garcia. Second eleven or somewhere went back to past and he gets hit and fumbled. Fortunately we recovered it. And I think -- you know all -- -- there aren't. That don't do assistant -- that it would not opponent players is -- an interesting game ending shortly deficit to -- playing tackle Marcus Lattimore and they can spot. You love yet comments recently mentioned Nick Saban be impressed the best coach I don't know if you meant that in the nation -- in the conference but thought he needed to does he need to go someplace else. To prove his greatness. Oh how did say that in Connecticut he was spent in the conference so I appreciate just say neck because it's. You know obviously -- to there's some schools the college football is not the most fair sport in the world as we all know Alabama. And what Clark used to be an independent -- be in the top three in the nation in recruiting Alabama still in the top three in the nation and our recruiting almost every year. So they don't have the best players in dismissed after the incident the chicken freedom if you just outplay them on that day it. So that's what you have to David he's going to always have really really super players and that course -- just great tradition in Alabama they know how to win and what it takes to win and I'll definitely won what fourteen national championships. That is -- in that. When he wins one they don't do anything for the first and he's done what they've done there is -- it's a tremendous accomplishment. But certainly added sure I think it's neat for a coach goes somewhere that. And they haven't achieved too much and he's able to. Build that program up there up near the top then that that sort of what I like trying to dig. We're not yet not yet but we've -- progress down here. But does he certainly made the best coaches in the cup probably in the conference at the -- is tremendous coach and he can win it. You know players like Ole miss or somewhere like -- release him. Is it. Do you like you did Duke's. Where we want to look didn't do now that it is incredible that was a good we have some good players and had a lot of good players people don't realize and that's that I you win you get you have to players you have good players and lose but you've got to have good once -- win -- -- Alabama did well. Well they do a super job recruiting -- thank -- nick recruit to a bit to -- Calipari does as far as you know come down here three years -- -- -- First round pick in the NFL I think -- -- -- poor first rounder to get ready go this year. And that -- enticing to young man to know -- got to go play three years in Alabama this person and an NFL pick -- 1012 years in a way ago. So that's pretty good game plan and that's sort of -- that -- down. What -- career advice would you give Bobby Petrino if you -- They had had that it was a really -- situation. You know he's he's sort of ask where would he be five years and that ten years from now who knows. -- I'm not -- you know giving advice. Heaven he's that he's a great football mind obviously -- there's issues in his personal life but you go to the NFL this sort of slow read. Reprogram re identify yourself but I kept -- proper -- it up. You don't think that would you be amusing and get another head coaching job. And well I wouldn't be surprised if he did that and you know maybe a year out and a lot of apologies yourself in the maybe. He could come back certainly. A lot of -- helping. Definitely have -- This is rehab that knee. As well as possible he's a little ahead of schedule and say I have seen -- -- straight hits full speed already.
