Eric congratulations on the game and when he's gonna have a pocket time like you guys had this week to rest heal up a bit and prepare for -- game you guys had plenty of -- yeah I mean I think we came out and and played well right from the start I think that. You know the layoff didn't seem to to Curtis -- on activity it was great you know if he gets -- and have a lot of a lot of studies on the ice early in the week but. But as the week progressed more more guys came back and they were very welcomed additions back into the lineup. Eric it's not the first time that that we've seen a line with -- Q and Eric Staal and Ray Whitney. When you guys have combined to be difference makers as you were to need to be one of those top lines what are the ingredients from your standpoint. Well I have you know I I think they'll a lot of stuff that. That we did offensively you know we're trying to do a good job of staying above the puck -- minutes. It's sort of a defense if you don't mind that went in the offensive zone but we did a good job of the stayed above the puck and given our. Filled with some great second effort keep some pucks in and you know we got fortunate bounces which is again what you need. But I would ask you about that about the pox that means being in good position to help out in the offensive zone. But isn't it just as important to be underneath the -- In your audience he can come up well with -- speed you're looking very good trip you've been you've been paying attention on getting yeah. -- of our locker -- very true you know whether the coaches that preach and a that we we need to stay beneath the puck and we need to you know come out of come out of his own a five and have five guys you know in the in this you know or watch a video in the street at the same time battle puck so. Back in each other up and go with it like that we're gonna get opportunities to. You know you know chip pucks in and jump by at the end you create odd man rushes in that sense but there was need to play a bit more patient game and -- over. You know important get a -- -- going to and now hopefully with time you guys can settle in because you -- on Ray Whitney. Haven't had a chance to play much together this season and you're just taking that opportunity. What yeah that's been tough on me. Special three of us have have had. You know an injury and at one point or another you know through the first -- without a lot of injuries but still it's no excuse and you know hopefully we've we've turned a corner and you know this isn't a good game you know despite. Did you think about that trying to help him out I don't -- where he's played a lot of games league and he doesn't really need that settling influence and also having been an Olympian. Do you think about it as as being able to really make a good argument. Well. I mean I I think thanks for Eric you know it's. It's a situation. There were the the start the injury that he was bound with me through this for the first month of the season. That is able to -- some time off has come back and then he's really Ben. You know you know coming along I think at times are coming back he's you know been. You know. Gonna get himself back into it -- I think he's he's right there on the cost them you know I think he's one of the most of the players in this league and you know it's unfortunate that their team Canada so deep and you know that he's he's more -- considered. They're gonna have to play the wing but it you know I think he's a very Versa -- player and he's you know he'd be a great addition to their team I think he can help them out a lot of ways.
