What was your reaction when you heard about the trade to Columbus. Wasn't entirely shocked and I can say -- I've heard a lot of rumblings you know there's smoke there's fire and so. I saw. You know the call from team and you right away that you call and say hey I don't have solo bomb. Yeah -- technical minutes obviously -- the -- reality is you are being traded and then. I realize that tells me a great opportunity for. What do you feel you took away from your years with the kings as far as improving your game. Why I got to -- around a lot of great players don't particularly early on being around some some older guys that. You know I really learned from him -- -- -- Rob Blake in the Arsenal laundry and those guys that are real frozen. You know I've I've been -- enough guys that it's not seeing what it wouldn't wanna be like to I don't want. I just kind of learn how to be -- possible. It's how would you say. You've matured as a defenseman over the years. I think like game -- it's changed a lot from. From coming out of you know college everything thinks they is that -- that kind of change my game alive and which you know was was difficult the first. Bills to -- the whole time that it really wanted to change that. You know kind of let the game come you're not. I'm gonna ask you don't charge of players there they're too good for that but it's you know coming here that kind of let me go back the player that I didn't actually happen. I don't know I've been having success so far -- five games. Now what is it like you've come from a team that is in the middle of a playoff -- to a team unfortunately is not going to be in the playoffs this year. What is that like approaching each game. You know Orton rather Byzantine seasons. You know it's -- it's. But you know we have the gumption or an article on just playing you know -- and having fun -- is a great group of guys -- Actually shocked at how good of an atmosphere was when I first got here and some guys -- having fun coming into the -- can. We're trying to go on a good note and they got off to a really rough start which in this league you can't afford to dig yourself to being able holds your heart. So it's really different I attitude on the team just go out and play have some fun here kinda lose although summer playing obviously for the future. There and a contract -- -- -- guys here have a lot of fun plan and if that's the way it should be should have fun covering guys are excited coming drink a lot of fun of each other. They're having fun they're gonna play hard ground and you know it's it's a great atmosphere in the room. I don't want to -- these coaches -- shots.
