-- New Mexico State soccer wrapped up another successful weekend of play defeating northern Colorado and thrilling fashion before beating Arkansas Little Rock last Sunday 83 -- that brings the Aggies overall record to six in two. And with that first year head coach Blair -- -- with this -- coach first of all welcome to the show let's talk about the northern Colorado win. On Friday your thoughts on the victory. Okay great when I was the first time this season we played a team that has. Matched us in our system straight up across the board. That was probably our our toughest game of the year. Maybe doubted Texas Tech game early on the I think that was our best soccer game that we played in your degree -- So -- I went to Mexico state improved to five and two on the season -- rolls in on Sunday you really take care of business against. You know we scored two great goals coming off budget -- camera freshmen and two very good goals in the first half we really didn't play without. But then we made some adjustments at halftime and played what what's been so close to my. It's a New Mexico State now sixth on the season the Aggies have won six in -- L coach and general. Alex talk about this season overall what are some of the things that you've seen that you have -- from your team eight games. I think the growth of -- -- just in general you know we have so many new players. And really just. It's a new system for everybody so starting from where we started August 3 -- first appreciative to -- right now. The growth of the terms of their play that style that will start created is really excited. Was obviously a lot of good things you've won six of eight -- -- -- -- flip it over what are some of the things that you think that your team needs to work on moving forward getting into lack. We still need to finish. It's the finish chances better what we are creating some high school scoring chances were still just not quite hitting on all cylinders there you know we scored some nice goals this weekend. Tom so looking for a forced -- to create a few more goals or opportunities. From an individual standpoint you get the most -- to -- has been doing the best job. It was a couple kids mega -- has been playing left stock for us and I'm pretty sure she's played every minute or years she's an awesome. Actually very good enough from the first game until last night. And Mary -- total. And it's really come on the last three weeks there -- so I'm certainly last two weeks in the center of it feels very good. When you talk about your system that shut you that you talked about just a couple of minutes ago you are first year head coach and I know you've talked a lot about it in the media but what exactly is your system may be for the fans watching you for the. First time 'cause it's very high pressure both with and without the boy I think when teams talk about high pressure they strictly talk about defending. And we have sort of talk a lot more about high pressure attacking. Really putting pressure on the other team in their own half when we have the ball. -- than the kids have really started to -- finally and accomplish and move forward with our defending has been. I courtroom I think very good for last four or six games and now our attack is starting to move as well. So New Mexico State soccer moves to six and two on the season winners of six and zero.
