As a as an amazing situation with a rookie mini camp after the first frank as a rookie mini camp coach Carroll came up to me told me. You know Rossi had a chance to be the starting quarterback since the hope that he's on the practice and they'll still Sosa reaffirming -- the weight that my whole life and he's a great opportunity and I was -- seize that opportunity so throughout. Camp and all that and up when the starting job. We had a tremendous season this year 11. Much or maybe thirteen fourteen games a week. We went through what's the playoffs and it was an awesome that's the situation for us we've lost unfortunately the last game heartbreaker to Atlanta Falcons but. It was a great great year and in. I was fortunate enough to be named Duke to the Pro Bowl in ninety -- as a rookie is unbelievable we had six total. Seahawks there which is unbelievably maybe the most or second most and it's -- history which is on it was pretty awesome and -- Just to be there be around Drew Brees to be around Payton means that you -- means and as a rookie as a as a rookie quarterback to be around them and talked and just try to gain knowledge from him. You know is really amazing so I really had a blessed year -- is an -- I love that you -- it drew because that was one of my favorite conversations during the trouble was how much he gushed about you and how much similarities he saw between the two of you do you see it. You're so awesome looked up to that guy for for so long of state is the home. I've read his book twice coming back strong and he's just -- inspirational personal life but to be there and to be at the global and have to practice with him and asking questions and just be around and see how it goes about his business and you know the thing about great quarterbacks -- they have tremendous leadership and tremendous attention and detail. And their relentless competitors that's what drew drew has -- -- -- bring to the table on Sunday so it's it's it's great to be around him is awesome experience for me to be at the Pro -- and to be around -- Funny because he's all of that about you but the biggest thing he said that you two have in common is the chip on your children. I'm guessing that -- might be stemming from the same name. Yeah -- were both relatively short so I think that you know you hear people tell you can't do something. You know you can do -- then you are in your mind we have the ability you know I guess the funds skill set and so. We knew we worked -- that you try to prepare every day be great. Not to let anything stop and that's I think that's what drew and I definitely believe and believe in ourselves we believe our football teams we believe that we can be successful and what the situation. Please be honest with -- when. When asked this question because you you RF still no matter what you're accomplishing so much about your night as it ever been effective for you NFL games was there ever a time in the pocket. There hasn't been one time in college or net and former NFL. A career so far shorter bunkers and rookie year has been one time. People always tell -- -- -- -- both six fewer still would go see over my -- the linemen are 68. You know so you see through -- and trust what you see you know you know your offensive scheme. You know the defense is trying to do that's where that's where preparation. In the Sampras in the preparation you see the defense and he blossomed tons on film prepared take notes that translates. One of the things fans love about watching your game is when you set a lot from march on your -- -- -- that I supposed to be doing. I'll just play as hard as I can just a couple fourteen. I'm not about the weakest -- were on the road I can and I give and go get some people you know in and battle a little bit of a play DB before I played some of the positions and I think that. It's going to try to help our football team win is really important I think that knew the team respects that they see that. They know how much I went. You have a pretty equal the war although I would ask you if this is a positive or negative when you win the video -- value performer award for the player who outperformed his contract. I don't know if that's good event to win now. -- -- -- I guess with -- you know this you know the fans voted in -- you talk about a performer on some really awesome. It is a great award to win. It's true on they gave its amazing do busier tablet. You know they gave me fix TVs recently that's -- -- Changed TV now anyway so I'm excited about not -- much entourage in. They show up. On time and have a -- -- but interesting award with the timing because -- contract was in the news and we're used to it's business and -- whatever sides get those kind of things out there. You very quick to come out publicly dismissed -- I'm not looking for that. Not at all I know the rules of the CB yeah I respected -- respect in FO TA respect and I found respect the players that play in the league. I would never ask for a new contract if it wasn't allowed and some that'd happen and I added demand is there anything that I. I don't I don't play for money you know I and it's it's -- it's my job so it in line -- you know had to get -- earning had to get paid but. You know I'm blessed just for the team football to have that gift to get a throw the football had yet to get a run up and down the field and play in front of a thousand people. And it's an honor but that's the Seahawks I would play them my whole career I can't wait -- most of us congratulations on an amazing thing is that -- a -- -- -- you go Hawks.
