Well you know I'm thinking about a leader I'm thinking that a guy that. -- actions that he takes people wanna follow when he says things they wanna listen you have a guy that can make other people do things that they might do on the room that quarterback passed it. Bring it bring another ten guys together make them play better. And when the game's on the line yet to be clutch and make great plays and yes to benefit those guys. And I think that the biggest thing like in terms of playing the quarterback position you just got to got to weather the storm. There's going to be ups and downs throughout a game and in and the great quarterbacks are the ones that. And keep coming back play after play stay in the now and no matter how well it's corner how poorly it's going to stay focused on the now and they try to execute he just. Has he never wavered that one did the whole time with anything that's going good and it's gone bad. And so you know it's really -- he's allowed us to really believe pulling him that he can continue to do this first off you knowing when we're. We're evaluating players that we receive the physical side of that you know see that in the film see what he can do and you know the numbers and statistics and all that. That's what I first about -- there's some really cool things about him but when we first had a chance talking visit. You know you come away from that thinking is just too good to be true you -- so serious and so determine these. So polite and so attentive and so tuned in. He's one you know. What -- a good show this got put on you know a bit but when we saw him again and we did our homework and research the more we around the more I realized. That this is just two years is a remarkable young man. And it it's it really comes through in everything that he does and every step he takes in and everybody knows that this around the. Left the Rose Bowl you know that the draft process starter right away and now I'm using a great opportunity for me to play in the National Football League. A lot of people were saying how few short play but I knew that had the ability in -- I didn't find my skill sets so. As I went to the Senior Bowl as I went to the com buying everything I just prepared the best way possible. We knew early that this could be a guy we would take. That's the story you know unfolded for us it was really really excited that we had a chance we came -- third round. You know wasn't worried about where I was going to be taken whether it was the the first rounder and a sixth round second round third round I knew that once I got my opportunity out and put everything. You know it into -- out and do the best that I could. You know but in terms of looking back right now -- you know I obviously have been nice to being picked in the first round or wherever and have been -- a dream come true order but my dreams -- to come true on the. -- well yeah I think I think there -- a lot of teams really thought that Russell was a great football player and they could see that it was he really wasn't hard to see. But just I think the state of the guys that's under six feet tall just took a lot of people away and I think. You know the conventional wisdom as we talked about it you know would say that you know guys that sizes -- make in the league. And but we kept going back to the of this. Drew Brees and try to get in our our thoughts together on that. I've always thought that the guys not in the profile sideways and the better he better be really unique is really special and in Russell was all of that. Also it's a blessing to be you know Columbus at Seahawks I'll sit there and and a lot of teams -- text me and talking to me and tell me that there it really changed and by the take Maynard -- You know at CL Seahawks you know start to come up that kept looking at it got to hope and wish that they were called my name. He is so so confident and and believes in himself so strongly he's just a ball player and it doesn't matter what the situation is -- Or lose look at them -- what the scrutiny may be here and care he's gonna go do what he's capable of doing basically could you give -- chance to win. It doesn't matter how big how small or whatever you are. You know it's definitely a blessing that the work at every day -- -- -- my game or in my crafted yet to perfect that crafted. Not play this game for a lot of reasons I planned for months and then playing for a supporting myself you know self motivated -- that really helps me. (%expletive) just become the best person I can be the best player that I can be but there's also want -- thing. Don't play if all other kids that you have been told that they can't do something under that is too small too short but they still have the town -- -- I don't think that's right I think that you have to be at a bring your your your -- game every time obviously being undersized or being an underdog but I think that's a great opportunity to so.
