Well it took a few days in the Olympic tournament in Vancouver we had our first near -- that followed by our first real that on day three determined. Rory what was the reason that candidates struggled so badly against this list well. I think one advantage teams like Canada and Russia in the super powers have Goldberg. You know the lesser teams Switzerland Norway's -- their defense can move the puck so well to the head man leaving the zone. And -- certainly shown flashes of that. And they're certainly capable of it but too many times last night I thought they were making the stretch past trying to make that breakthrough place that was getting intercepted at the Red Line and maybe at the far blue line. But with and they they turn it back and come back in transition create their own scoring chance or create some pressure in their own and I think Canada's got -- sort of keep it simple you know and it not go for those long stretch -- keep -- short move the puck cup mean and control the puck with there with their big bodies controlled play that. Way -- -- -- do that in attendance of doggedly the Swiss were last night but who -- -- -- observations but what really. And the key to not only Canada struggles but did this with the success in that game. -- I think Swiss penalty killing was incredible and you know that's the thing when when you're maybe not as fast as the opposition. You tend to take more penalties but if you can back it up by killing those penalties than you're in pretty good shape and I think in the downfall of Canada even though they they did get. A power play marker was the fact that it looks like they're being too cute there making four passes win one minus suffice. And you know with so much talent out there it. I'm sure a lot of Canadians -- were yelling at their TV screens and shoot the puck. It's it was basically that means but I think at 14243. Shots on goal they did come through with a win we had W facility how well he played that game. Oh definitely and you know this is -- hallmark of this whisper a couple of tournaments now Martin Gerber did last time and and yet it still is doing it don't forget he did the same thing to the San Jose Sharks in the first then the playoffs last season those is nothing new for him. But this is something that can can really help a team that's emerging like the Swiss. And they are having more success internationally. It's not necessarily translate into -- yet but when you have a solid goaltender like Taylor who's really it probably hasn't even hit his prime yet in the NHL. You're gonna have -- goaltender for a couple years ago and now a couple of tournaments. You know the NHL's at the Olympics in 2014. Sylvia huge part of that Swiss squad. You know when you have a guy can depend on like that. It gives -- so many more options in in how you deal with playing a team that might have a lot more often -- I've -- It's incredible that you know they came with the -- candidate in the end but still there's a sense of panic almost because they weren't able to blow this team out of the water. Is it real really time to start anything for him. Now I mean you know they lost their opener to Sweden in an 02 when they ended up winning the gold medals granted Sweden is a lot better than in Switzerland but it's still early in the tournament they are still getting used to each other. I mean Russia lost this little back yet and it determined not over them they just have too much by our firepower. They're coach they're too good players too good to go into getting in -- talking -- Jonas Hiller dealing hanging are like -- extremely game well you know -- goalies in canas -- and -- again it is just the same plus they have that fire power front. These other teams rely on you know a lot more players a lot better chance they can recover from this and improved so it. You know that there's certainly a reason to be a little in a little -- what's gonna come next but it's far from over yet well.
