I'm Brian -- pleased to be joined by our college basketball idolized John -- -- -- move beyond the power how it's going to be a judges assessing the gaudy record but you don't have to wait for the -- let's start with Creighton. Doug McDermott averaging over twenty points a game are you buying them as a pretender or contender Doug McDermott. 23 points a game yes at bats is solid -- to be able doing college basketball I don't want to take that away from them. You look at Creighton in the top 25 right now really the top one sit -- 1516 spot. I think that's a little over inflated and here's why they beat San Diego State on the road and yes that's a great wins India received again another top fifteen team. But that's silly when they've got and we your mid major you must must must win all the games that you should win. Sort of lose to Saint -- that's a tough one yet still good team and a good conference but then you go to Missouri State. The Missouri State Bears but you know there was batters that's not why would you. The Mercer is that you can't lose to the Missouri State Bears and be considered a contender in the NC -- so at this point. Let's say pretended OK how about Saint Mary's in the West Coast Conference which is down this year but -- scales playing at a high level. Are you buying Randy Bennett's team pretend or content I'm gonna say contender I mean seriously. You know between rob Jones and then another Aussie I mean a bit weird weird is Randy Bennett get the -- and obviously Australia. But where does he had to Dallas and get a dollar guys that didn't come to Saint Mary's. I mean -- -- the building is just a phenomenal player of the things he can do with a basketball scoring passengers creating. He is a major player and he's again a guy that can play anywhere in the country. And those two guys together that inside out threaten Rob Jones at a smaller forwards -- -- power forward type player. They will dominate that conference and I think leading into into regular season -- new BC they lost to a team like Baylor then I mean obviously. Very good team in Baylor they're they're one of my number one -- and make a run the final four I see this team actually. Be one of those mid majors to cause a lot of problems in the NC -- which they've done in the past. Contender but wrapping up another team on the West Coast San Diego State Steve Fisher as the aztecs leading the Mountain West Conference -- Jets or are you more shaking your assessment of after that the win against you know be earlier this month. I mean I have to say this is a serious contender col Y Leonard had this team Rolen last year. And they're right back to where they were last year I mean obviously not the top five it's important Sosa because they clash in the top five. And again this is a west that are -- Mountain West Conference. That is always top ten they always have two teams it's a two team race right now it's UNLV and San Diego State but San Diego State seems to be the team. Then I can see having a 34 seed in the NCAA tournament. And goalie a long way. Everybody kind of looks down on the on the Mountain West Conference but there in the mix every year so I get Steve Fisher a lot of credit. For keeping the level of play up again as as he always does seems to do in San Diego and Steve Fisher doing a marvelous job in the second chapter of the -- always appreciate the insight.
