Well we will really only use nine. But. Well one of the things I think it says about us is we've gotten a lot better. This team was who was. A good basketball team at the beginning of the year but it's really become a better and better basketball team as the year's gone on and you know I can't. Necessarily. Pinpoint the reason why other than it has come to work. Every single day. And their effort level has stayed consistent. Even when there's no one in the gym that practice. Throughout the entire season and in May be even ratcheted up a notch. After. After the holiday break so I think that. That probably had a lot to do with that and you know I've been a really good teams have been fortunate to coach a lot of great teams about learned. If part of a lot of conference championships. Especially in the regular season and you know none of the teams have ever come close to achieve in this so that was certainly need to thank.

Gordon hey Orton Sheldon Mac or you're leading scores and only sophomores but at this stage of the careers it seems like. The play -- upper class and right.

I think they played like upper class was as they were freshman and their first game. They were. You know these guys came in with the level of maturity understanding and and desire to win. That seniors have -- I think that that's why they've had such success they approach every day the right way. And you know we needed them to continue to do that we certainly lean on.

You won more games in your first three seasons as a head coach than any other head coach in the history of major college basketball. Are you even surprised by how much -- you that.

You know I haven't really thought of it is me you know I think that certainly. Worry we have a great program here butler. We've got a great school. More -- a great city. And there's a lot of positives they go on here and I think you know all of us. Players managers coaching staff all being on the same patient and wanting to achieve the same things. Has played a bigger role in it that one individual and so I'm just lucky to be a part of it and I am enjoying it because it's you know I notices and given by any means that. But -- win like we want and certainly. To a 13 regular season conference championships and two position yourself postseason each of those three years as a as an accomplishment.

became a head coach we only thirty years old you think you relate better to today's players because of your age.

You know I don't think that I relate better because I think it I know a lot of people. That are older than I am that relate terrific with with players. I don't wanna say that I relate better I do I do feel like I've got a pretty good idea what they're going through. You know. As far as the demands of day of days of a college schedule off the court. You know fifteen to eighteen hours of school work and tough classes being able to balance. You know mid terms and finals and everything else that comes with that -- also being expected to BA. And achieving athlete. And I played at the division three levels of those expectations are way greater for these guys that it was from me but I do have a feel for. You know hey when it's time to back off and in those type things to that's fairly fresh in my mind it's. But at the same time I think there's enough distance between the players and myself that. I wouldn't consider us necessarily to be the from the exact generation by any --
