I feel like I'm in the best time in my life as a human being right now. I've done an incredible wife. Children grandchildren. Friends. Support group. And I I can't wait. To roll my sleeves and go to work here because there's some nice young pieces in this organization. And it's my job I sort of feel like you know -- getting on a bus on the bus driver -- gotta get the right people on the bus. And more importantly I gotta get -- in the right seats. And that we can do that. We'll win a lot of games. This team I think people forget two years ago or. And two years -- rower in the playoffs 141 games. He can't be 1229 at home six -- twenty gets. We're going to be a defensive minded team. Speed quickness. You got to have young pieces to do that high energy we have that. And we got some players on the team -- after revitalize a little bit. And get their joy of the game back. But when I look at the landscape. The Eastern Conference. Everything is so fluid it's so much is being made this summer about this summer free agency. Was on one or two guys that are -- dramatically changed games. And when I mean by that is that -- go there and you know there's going to be a big bomb. But when I look at the east obviously Boston is the class of the Atlantic Division. But as we know that team is starting get a little older. New Yorkers got a lot of cap money we don't know who they're gonna sign New Jersey took a big hit when they lost the Lotto ball because they were open sell John Wall. To a lot of free agents Toronto be in that remains to be seen whether or not they're going to be able to keep Chris Bosh in the fold so -- all that said. You know I feel very strongly that the Philadelphia 76ers. Can be very very competitive. And promised mr. Schneider. That there're going to be a team that what he watched him play. He was going to be able to enjoy the game because the team's gonna compete. They're gonna play passionately. And they're gonna give these fans -- money worth I wanna have a high energy. Very intense defensive team I think if you look at my record most of my team's been very good defensively. It's something we work on everyday in practice. And it becomes something that becomes -- calling card holders gather in tough times. I think the true holiday as a chance to be a terrific on the ball defender that's world starts. Andre Iguodala should be a all league defensive player to small forward he has ability in fact I talked to Phil Jackson yesterday. Before the game and he was raving about how well Andre Iguodala placing -- Kobe Bryant. He's that young guys got some great skill. Thaddeus I gotta get him back yet -- here this year the year before he played terrific. And then obviously Elton is going to be critical and my connections with coach K and Duke and Chris and all. To sit down I already have a relationship with -- Elton and hopefully. Get him playing the way I know he's capable playing. Because he's had two tough years you know coming off the killings in the shoulder. And he's got to get healthy we got game feeling good about himself you know -- with a shot blocking and rebounding. We got good guys coming off the bench could do some things -- and and and the Williams Willie Green. -- -- Meeks played well at the end of -- so this pieces. But now it's up to -- put it together.
