This is Ken Rosenthal of foxsports.com. You might have noticed the past two weeks that the Florida Marlins are salute freefall. Losers of fifteen of their last eighteen games they fall behind the Mets in the NL east and they're barely ahead of the Washington Nationals. You know what this means when it comes the Florida the manager could be in trouble. Well if the Marlins fire Edwin Rodriguez they'd be doing absolute. Wrong thing. I know that Rodriguez isn't the biggest name mine always in the flashes guy and the Marlins are going into new ballpark. But the same time nor was complaining about Rodriguez when the team was 29 in nineteen when Josh Johnson was healthy when Hanley Ramirez was healthy. The problem with the Marlins is that I can make every logical argument in the world why it would Rodriguez is a good manager in yeah is. But there's only one guy whose opinion matters and that of course is -- owner Jeffrey Loria. Now granted the older always is the guy in control and we all understand that. Well loyal over the years has done a number of unconventional things to say the least. Things that would be outside the box if you with the even inside the box to begin -- Most recently the Marlins fired -- hitting coach John -- A guy who mentored a lot of their young hitters coming up through the minor leagues when he was the team's minor league hitting coordinator. Why I was -- fired no obvious reason the Marlins were in the top half of every offensive category in the national. But it Jeffrey Loria decided to change need to be made the change was made. That is how this over operates he can do -- he can be emotional and yes he could be wrong head at times. You would be wrong headed he decided to fire it would be.
