I'm Brian -- pleased to be joined by fox sports that -- senior baseball writer Ken Rosenthal previewing the outstanding matchups you can see on the MLB a spot steady. You'll be -- boats out as the Tigers host the twins it looks like -- Lions club has really peaking right now in your opinion. Is that your Bryant a really cute and frankly a lot better than I expected. Even with the rotation that beyond Justin Verlander and Doug Fister is still questionable. Tigers' offense has really come -- -- -- now fourth in the American League in runs scored and that's really very good. They've got Cabrera Victor Martinez Alex Avila brawl a number of offensive weapons. Keep in mind -- has the patch him lined up together each day at second base third base and now with -- bosh out in right field as well. But when you look at them the top two stores Verlander and -- -- and you look at the back in the bullpen NY and now -- well it's pretty special group. Then why has been lights out since about mid may now birdie of course 41 for 41 in save opportunities this season. He just got Al Albuquerque back He should help the bullpen as well. Do I think this team can overtake the Yankees the Red Sox for the Rangers well they would be underdogs against any one of those teams. But they are good enough to pull off an upset in each case. I'll slide foxy is at Texas Arlington in the Rangers hold off closed down the stretch you make it back to back division championships. Probably they will -- and frankly this has been closer race than I ever expected. The Rangers in my view or one of the best teams in the American League and yet they've been able to shake the Angels. Now with twenty games left the Angels with three and a half games behind the significant margin even though these teams do play in the final series. And really you would like the Angels more if you could find your offense or trusted their bullpen. They're starting rotation as I wrote this week with Weaver inherited Santana. Would be the most dangerous of any American League team in the post season. The problem is the rest of their club analysts suddenly their offense gets hot I don't see them catch and the Rangers or even coming close. Finally will spotlight the L central again as the White Sox host the Indians it's been a disappointing season on the south -- Chicago. What the White Sox need to do in the off season to get better. Bryant I'll just see. This they need to do something just look at the facts here. Here's a team that won the World Series in 2005. But has won only one playoff game since. About the missed the post season for the third straight year this is a team that opened the season with a -- highest payroll in the major leagues about a 120 million. In filing this is a team that has seen its attendance all at home by an average of about 2000 per game. Attendance was never all that great to Begin. When it all up here something clearly needs to change and I would start with the manager Ozzie game. This is -- full season with the White Sox He of course has made noises about going to Florida. And perhaps at this point the change would be best for everyone involved. After a certain period of time the relationship between team and it's manager gets stale. All the White Sox players never publicly complain about the new vibe of that clubhouse certainly wouldn't hurt. Yet at the same time you can make the case that the greater blame here lies with general manager Ken Williams. He's the guy who put this team together guys signed Adam Dunn. And number of other things that have gone wrong here certainly could be attributed to kids decisions and not -- At the same time owner Jerry Reinsdorf is extremely loyal to both men that's what they've lasted this long together to do it. I don't expect writes that the change general managers. Even sure He will change managers given his relationship as long standing relationship but not. But all that's said the White Sox can not come back with this -- mix again. All right Kent thanks so much for the -- don't miss the MLB -- -- on Saturday starting at 4 PM eastern on your local fox affiliate fort Ken Rosenthal on Bryan Webber. We'll see next up. -- -- -- -- -- Fox Saturday baseball. Telecast presented by Chevrolet.
