You just got done playing a couple weeks ago and obviously you're very familiar to one another. Being in the division talk about the challenges of playing a team so close approximately one. You know any time you got to play Drew Brees like this back to back it's almost like a double -- -- FaceBook games like. I was never fun on the you know you got to go out there play in a bit and come off a very bitter loss put it going to be angry -- -- ago. To got to deal with those problems. What would going out -- that don't. We had some success in the last couple years onto that means nothing as we all know what you still got to -- and give our best shot give our best effort in order to win this football game and it's. Again for first place so that'd be funny that upended. As you get ready for the Saints again you are very familiar with one another but in the last game do you ever find do you kind of keeps up and your back pocket thinking okay. We kind of got this one but I'm -- plan and a couple weeks I kind of like this but don't need it now it's all just kind of keep this up my play calling she. It always like that know you always have stuff you play -- he gets to leap over. You decide what you want to call it leader in that game what do you wanna hold onto it. It looks like the way you guys are clocked up in the NFC south and it's really gonna come down and could come down to the head to head competition. Does that the players sense that is or something about the week when you're getting ready for division rival on the road do you sense that your players. Yeah absolutely do. On the excitement to play this -- to play anybody division is always. As I was an -- -- on these guys love playing each other they love the rivalry and and and this year until these guys you know only goes to go on how to win the NFC south. And the only you do that you beat you guys you division we know are crimes division is gonna be good about going to be tough -- -- by go play hard fast mark consistent. It's about who can finish and play better down a -- stretching here. You know last year Josh Freeman was so good and a big party your success was adjusted and turned the ball over. Struggled a little bit that so far this year what can you do to help him. Get over that bugaboo of the turnovers. You know -- and play consistent right now medical -- was progress since they keep getting better that situation with the game still only 23 years so. That's another big thing but I yet many people yet -- he won't let you beat excuse form. But the thing yet remember is he's still young he's still grown he's still developing and as we got to help him on this team that helped Morgan Morse well also. Hopefully. Could you not get tackle personal so we teach our guys get the arm down and get it up. I and in the second thing when -- step on them I really secure and a ball enough to realize I get the ball dying -- -- you know get rid of the -- first and they can reach for the ball punts for the ball. I -- to me is to everyone's one if he does that if he doesn't to form you you got to secure the tackle number one. Two if he does you can get to hand out first get to tackle punt the ball. Sometimes you need to just get the ball your best player -- -- -- -- good way to do that is an option route. Jacksonville's offensive coordinator -- cutter shows us how the jags get that. And -- for 22 yards on the sideline. I'm gonna take Reese right here and we're gonna give him a free release or are released to get away from that that speed rusher coming off the hand. And Reese is gonna come out here and try to work an option route -- The dime or the will backer whoever's in that spot. -- in the way that option route works Marreese is gonna come out here and anywhere as he gets past the line of scrimmage and get his shoulders squared up. Anywhere between two and six yards. We're gonna look to let him take an inside break. Gain as much ground as he can't. If he cannot get inside. That will linebacker in the -- stays inside of him. He'll push stepping up to six and turned his numbers back to the quarterback. If you -- -- man or match coverage mean that linebackers coming at him when he push that thing up to six yards. He'll break it out and stay on the move or run and our option -- series especially our halfback option. We'll play in a two man to man real two man game over here and we're gonna read -- load up high so anticipate inside break by -- back and read it one. To two in case we get a bracket on Marreese get a bracket on that halfback and they're squeezed him in there usually that comes with that cloud corner there squeezing it down. Play and you work him out so we try to do try to plan and formulate your plan to teach. And that takes the most time road and that's what field preparation is about us. How correct relate to some players relate -- understand as well as I understand. I think former players think you're going to watch the tape. Screaming you know a little bit do a lot of that when I was younger -- screaming go -- Put them somewhere along the line you lose a communication and ability to do. Not -- might Billick ran it seems like we have this incessant need by coaches both head coaches and coordinators. After a tough loss to throw themselves under the bus the -- every news conference with its my fault. I didn't get them ready. Put that on me my bad I gotta tell you I don't like it. What happened to suggest we didn't play well and what part of Reid doesn't include me. But all the time it seems like -- coaches have -- the humility and to me it just comes off as pandering pandering to the media. Pandering to the fans pandering to the players that don't know it's all on me you should take -- -- job because I'm throwing myself under the bus. I think you need to be careful because at some point ownership the players may decide you know what I think you're right there's an old saying coach says. You know what. The walk if you let -- simply meaning that if you give the players that excuse -- are gonna take it I think it's just simply giving the players. You say okay maybe it wasn't me I appreciated coached at the end of the day there gonna agree with yeah and maybe a change is gonna come about.
