But joining us now the former league MVP Kurt Warner -- FL network I Kirk. You know Tebow works in strange ways here I was critical of him on the way he's played first three quarters this season and all of a sudden start to stroke on the -- Act act -- -- It's amazing what he's doing -- and I think we've all had those same questions about what he's done for for the first three quarters but. With everybody else working together and everybody else keep it close and given him a chance down the stretch and you're right he's been amazing. -- -- you Begin trouble lining when he got to make plays he's find a way to do it and do it not only would you please please do it within -- still. Isn't he the reason why ain't. They have to have -- time. Well cut probably but. You know the thing about it is that. -- we have to take so much -- the consideration is that we wanted to just look at his passing stats but the way he plays the fact that he doesn't make mistakes. The fact that they win. You know that good field position game so often because of the way they play because they don't turn the ball over as -- -- short field there's so much that goes into it that. You know he's doing right and that he's doing well even when he's not completing passes and so yeah I mean I think to rip it agreed that's why they have people -- -- But he's also the reason they have people time from the standpoint that he's doing so many things like that other teams skipped. It to the point where they blow them out. What would you work on. With him. -- -- are probably the biggest thing is just you know -- schoolwork it is technique. If that. You know you see him do some good agency make some plays down the stretch but I think if you could just get more consistent. Which is full work you know where he's stuck with -- lead foot you -- -- the tightness of his mechanics if you could adjust that a little bit. I think that. Would help him just to be a little more consistent enough that he has to be great because he does. Some other things well what teams do other things well but that's probably the one thing like you say okay would you know where to go with it. I just want you to be more consistent and being able to complete -- practice. My feeling is when he is back to pass he's thinking about all the people who say. It looks ugly he can't pass and an and it's almost he becomes even more mechanical instead of because people didn't say this at Florida you didn't hear people say. Boy that it that'll never -- -- can't be like that in the pros I think that we looked at him and accepted him for what he did it in May be one of it you know maybe the greatest college not. Quarterback of all time. You get to the pros where all these analyst are talking about how ugly looks he seems to be thinking instead of just reacting. Well I think there's times where I think you're right -- -- almost trying to be too perfect and he almost trying to talk -- certain things in there instead of just. Throw the football but I think that's what happened at the indicate. It let him -- to the first three quarters he's -- going okay need to make this world and he's thinking of trying to make appropriate and then down the stretch he's just like. I've just got to make a play and I got to win it he's not really thinking about. Being perfect with his throat didn't in those cases he's actually more accurate but I think if you watch the last couple -- he's got a lot. More. You know he's a lot better in the passing game -- -- his technique and being able that. Give his players and chipped it to make plays and they dropped a ball on this past week. It just think because -- separated that a little bit more. He's taking immediate Chicago and I think some really good things the last couple weeks so maybe he's just that letting -- get more comfortable if it were going to keep attacking game. Come along maybe not ever be great but come along to the point where. They could at least count on that it and you know take more play the way from the option can't get to a few more drop their throats. He's Kurt Warner NFL network analyst joining us Dan Patrick show I if you can clarify this -- easy until Tim Tebow of this sort of back off the religion. With the media. Go I didn't -- there was yet it was misconstrued in the article where they asked me. How I used to deal with things that I sit there were times when. You know I'm sure everybody don't -- would stand up on you know -- will podium to professed faith but there were other times where. I would tone it down understanding. Who my audience once and you -- trying to reach different people different plays and so -- that there were times I would tone it down and in the interview raspy woke would you share that with him if he talked to a nicer guy which your body experience and what I did. Not tell him what to do but I would cheer. You know how I went about it how I felt that was effective. That became an article where Kurt Warner tells Tim Tebow to do this so no I would never tell anybody how to answer that statement. You know I -- and people love what he's doing I would just share with anybody whether they're football player or not this is how I did it in this is how I felt. I was able to be effective in different situations. But you got negative feedback because you were putting your religion out there. -- -- Yes and no question I mean there -- dead definitely people in you know he's still here today -- -- and football. Don't let -- But what you realize with a guy like for two people with myself is that. You're afraid portability it's not like a football Jersey that you just take off decision -- -- again it's something that goes with -- everywhere and so. What you played football where you're at home with your family would you speak into an organization. It doesn't really matter your faith. Is first and foremost and you carry it that way and you know it's one of those things it's always on your mind in especially when you get opportunities this year with people. He ordered be doing an interview will have a chance to talk after the game. That becomes the one thing that's on your mind that you want to share with everybody because you believe it's a huge part of why you where you are. You know I think it's a great point that it's not like a uniform you take off he's wearing that uniform all the time when he talked about it -- you still on the football experience. I am we still do well and called the ultimate football experience -- week. Bringing in NFL former and current players to be all time quarterbacks for corporate teams. And the sponsor this year is neutralized that a company that I worked with closely and they're giving away four stops to join us in March. For individuals to come out and be a part of one of most teams in. Play with guys like Aaron Rodgers and Michael Strahan or myself or intercept passes from those guys -- really a great front of that very unique. But if people wanna go to FaceBook dot com. Actually neutral like US. Thinking get a chance to get the first chance to win a trip out here to Arizona to have to take part that. You are not gonna let somebody ticks you -- I'm not going to let -- -- but I will throw some touchdown passes to. -- Roger's gonna play in this. You know he's played the last couple years and he's a guy that's served really enjoyed playing it. You know he got so what's going on haven't had a chance -- To solidify our white spots yet I usually wait until the season's over but he's a guy that's played Joseph Flacco missed. Ryan. You know just got a lot of great guys Michael Irvin. Deion Sanders to play this year and so. A lot of different guys hitting a guy that really enjoy the extremes but it's more about the football part of it really hanging out with these kind of need to know who they aren't. Really that's -- great -- to come up and it really helps support we were just so it's going to be great event again. At your best. Compare your best season with -- Aaron Rodgers this year. I'll watch out come. Not even close. Just I think he's been tremendous he's been tremendously. Consistent and I think that's been open -- most impressive to me is I think I have some stretches where I've played this game you know as well as anybody first stretch. But I don't think I ever had a decent. Like it's clear. I never had a bad team or two. You know I think every year that I played one of those games right through four receptions and five interceptions with it struggled and that's been the most impressive thing to me. He didn't force this past week where he was under a hundred quarterback Brady getting better I. Mean normally in 96 is a great year -- the the first time he's been under -- so. That to me has been what's. Most impressive yeah and I really think it it rivals. Tom Brady's here in 07 when he was so outstanding and so consistent but. But I don't I don't think I ever really came across. Good to visit with the again thanks for joining us curt. -- Kurt Warner NFL network analyst.
