The New Mexico State baseball team was able to win their series against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons last weekend with -- runs and effective starting pitching. Head coach Rocky or joins us now and coach you throw Ryan back out there on the hill this season opener what did you make of his performance. He was outstanding and the the -- the way it went with the seventh three last year or second team all conference CCC. Kid and matched him -- -- kitchen and and better and it was an outstanding outing. All the way around. Five and two thirds innings for -- fanned seven and walked just to see you get the Friday night when you play two games on Saturday split the Saturday. Doubleheader how would you characterize Saturday. Well it was as it was two and a letter we should've won both we played poorly defensively late in game. One that they kind of put it -- they've they've played very well it struggle with the offense trailed for an up and scored three in the bottom of the sixth inning gave up three and earned top of the seventh you know just I handed bat -- first kind of Bobble. But then we've we've followed. Double headers -- unique as you yet thirty minutes grab somebody go back out there and it's kind of hard surface. Emotionally. We got an outstanding outing from Adam -- And we win that one 31. So Sunday you guys hosts Wake Forest as well to close out the four game series leading the series 221 at that point looking for the series win Sunday and you get it and you score a lot of runs doing so. -- he had one of those press last few days where is high sky. Not terrible wind was actually beautiful that. But when you have -- completely clear sky it's hard for the ball and they have a little bit of -- for us. And moves the ball around and animated really difficult because today as both teams made nine errors combined. But that's not unusual on days like that and and we just you know we went out got gave up a couple of runs early Michael -- Local Las Cruces product. Really -- gave me a gutsy performances numbers will say six innings pitched six runs given up. But they were tough because we didn't play great defense behind him extended some innings timing it through a lot of tough. Tough pitches in and that we get three inning close at a Scott Kauffman. Nobody scored the last three innings and and so it was it was it was it pretty good learning experience all the way around we played it. Sloppy game that -- found a way to win an off balance offensively which is what we've done for years. Don't wanna go back there every day that. I like that 31 in and five freeway and you know. But over all you got to kind of go back and see each club has as different ways they can win games so we were able to do it from behind. In high scoring game and got good pitching play. It goes three for five and a Sunday team with three RBIs what kind of impact did he have on this series against what sports. It was important is Parker and -- Carriker middle of the -- guys along with Fisher did not have a good weekend as a earthly form viable. Hitters you know over all they were.
