Well commit to another edition of the four minute drill here on fox sports Ohio dot com on they've -- so. Joined by pat McManaman and also Zach Jackson also Frederick that will join us from the satellites that are. In just a minute the draft is just around the corner. Talk about free agency. And the money that was spent in the free agent period by both the Browns and the Bengals some specific needs were met but were they specific enough. Pat let's talk first about the Browns obviously don't for a couple of defensive lineman. Your thoughts on the money they spent there and how they spent. Today spend money that I don't know I think I missed that memo that they necklace with the money in free agency there's been a big uproar about this especially Cleveland obviously. Browns fans -- unhappy because they can spend enough money I don't. Particularly biased I don't know that the guys that were. Paid a lot of money -- would make that. Huge of a difference for this team. I think if you look at a team like the Washington Redskins and their owner for years has been like Henry the eighth and about -- grown -- thousand dollar bills. It hasn't it hasn't worked. You look at two other teams in the ground that there isn't actually all three -- Steelers and Ravens you tell me they're big money free agent signings and those he cities. Perennial playoff teams that go along slowly and hurts. It takes a while it stinks but in the long run it might be better off the angles a year ago we thought romance they -- a great draft picks they're a good team now. They're they look like a building team it's it's hard to take because people want immediate. Spending and and immediate answers but I just don't see in free agency outside of Peyton Manning one guy that would limit that they could have. Consecutive cuts on the grounds where they spent -- well it's hard to disagree with pat when he says that the history says that thrown a thousand dollar bills everybody catch him you know doesn't work in in most cases it doesn't know when you're the Browns and -- -- -- divisional play 5000 dollar chips and you've got a fifty dollar ones -- it's going to be hard to catch up. I think the Bengals from our priority standpoint getting Reggie Nelson that was huge and that should be expected it -- get him back. It breaks that it was a step. From the Bengals had a got a little harder after you've agenda for me and it -- -- they're happy with Green-Ellis doesn't really affect draft. Do have some cap money would go forward all these young players in the country but it's so we'll see if there in the short term getting Rich Hill. Let's. Drove down a little bit on the Browns and go to Fred greet them over in the satellite center enough Fred down from -- are dot com and also fox sports on how to count your thoughts on the way the Browns spent their cash during the free agencies. Well I think everybody was assuming that they would always make a splash or so devoid off of offensive playmakers that. Then maybe it -- picked up 12 Mercury I feel they need to address and get three starters. At least outside quarterback. Coming season I've been running back wide receiver. Right tackle -- here points you know couldn't come and it immediately what that ball went about pressure on us. I really felt that today with their top four picks the last two years. Have conceivably. Are great players but they gotta do that again this year immediately those guys have come through. The singles and a -- salary caps. It's like twenty million rounds or four so there's a reason. You know they're saving some money which -- like to see someone that -- similar to upgrade this team particularly offensive side ball. -- for a lot of people were disappointed that the Browns did not resign Peyton Hillis and any ghosts -- the one year deal in Kansas City. Your thoughts on that and how old and cut things -- draft I think that. You know NHL is still let him walk -- this year. Conceivably beat playmaker they had on offense they have to get a running back like Trent Richardson first to immediately come in me. And at least put it right takes pressure off quarterback. So. I think that. They've put themselves in that position without sign somebody to replace. And at just real quick if my grade -- the Bengals and the Browns a single letter -- country I would give the angles of the you know the -- he's on -- going to be I think one question we -- -- ask if Buckley how many players want to complete player right now. The losing to Michigan weather stinks it really wanna come quickly we didn't. Cleveland weather's certainly Kansas City and back -- it all right that's. And I wanted their heads out. That's our four minute drill will have more or a -- of fox sports that now.
