Lombardi: Jonathan Quick may not return until late December

On Wednesday, Kings general manager Dean Lombardi told Sportsnet 590 The Fan in Toronto that Quick, who suffered a grade two groin strain last week, is likely out of action through December.
When the injury occurred, the initial recovery timetable was three to six weeks, but with Lombardi's comments, it appears Quick's rehab may take longer than first diagnosed.
In Quick's absence, backup goalie Ben Scrivens has won four-straight games between the pipes for the Kings, who host the Devils on Thursday at 7 p.m. on FOX Sports West.
In nine games played (including six starts) this season, Scrivens has a 5-1 record with 166 saves.
